His work has a major impact in the sanitation and microbiological issues in the food processing industry unbeknownst to many individuals working in this industry.
This book is a "legacy." He passed away on May 12, 2012.

This book details the widely accepted hypothesis that the majority of bacteria in virtually all ecosystems grow in matrix-enclosed biofilms.
